Who Is Jonathan Curley?

This is my first blog post on my personal website, if you don’t all ready know who I am I should start by introducing myself.

Hello, I’m Jonathan Curley an Artist that aspires to be a professor of Technical Arts and a UK MP, as an artist and furry I’m known as Velivian Fesothe.

It’s my intention to use this personal website and blog to talk about my interests surrounding politics and general interests in Art and the hobbies I enjoy, I had planned to emulate what political figures post on their own personal websites, however I feel it would be disingenuous to try to be something or like someone other than myself so while I will try to talk about topics they also do I will ensure its always representative of myself and my casual writing style.

My more technical interests are documented on other blogs I own and post to, this is intended to be professional and hopefully drama free.

My current political update at the time of writing this blog entry is that I’m still developing the political websites, and 3D promotional content to be used in flyers and on the websites. Though that’s taken a small step back as I’m focusing on my entertainment websites for Furtainment.

A little more about me is that I describe myself as a centrist though furries have been known to lie that I’m alt-right. I am also pacifist but believe in adequate legal self defence.

I am also vehemently opposed to violence, naturally, and any and all movements that have involved some form of violence unless it's in self defence of themselves, or that of an animal, and wildlife etc.. My views on violence are that if it’s not in self defence then it’s a sign of weakness and shows you cannot control your own emotions.

I also came to the conclusion over many years of using social media and feeling repressed that the best I can hope for to express myself and my views requires it to be done on my own website. Whether or not my words reach anyone is another matter entirely and the best I can hope for is to be able to express myself.

Another thing of note about myself is I’m a huge ASMR fan and if I’m not listening to cars driving in the rain or walks around cyberpunk 2077 I’m chilling out to professional haircuts and assorted YouTube videos.

Now, let’s talk business you maybe aware my start-up business is called Furtainment known simply as Furtain it’s my intent to grow it into a Disney and Crunchyroll competitor. I aim to walk in Walt Disney's steps and build something to be proud of.

Which will involve making movies, shows, and games, and a lot of creative entertainment projects that I will share on my many blogs and where possible provide them as open source repos on GitHub. One such fully open source org project will be called Open Circus at opencircus.org, it's my intent to publish projects and engineering concepts that real circuses can migrate to and build themselves so as to transition away from using live animals in their performances and shows.

I’ve dreamt of doing this for over ten years and I've had a false start when I first registered the company Furtainment but was not fully ready but as of today things are on going and I'm a lot further into my dream than I once was.
